Today I bring to you a more convincing evidence from the official Gazette of August 1966 that showed Gowon ordered the release of Awolowo and other leaders that are in prison at that time. He released them under decree 1966 and gave the command under the public seal of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on August 2, 1966.
