I just wants to by pass the passwords of Wi-Fi in my area and gain free internet data.

Is rooting worth doing for the sake of Wi-Fi alone, will I lose my phone in the process or will my phone face any danger in the process?

Useless you have strong ethical hacking skills, and how to use the necessary apps on your Android phone then you can.... But you can hack any wireless network if you know how to use better cap and aircrack and the rest... Etc

I'm not sure it'll be worth it if it's just for WiFi alone. Still root, you'd be surprised with what you can do with a rooted device.
Check XDA for rooting guides for your device, telegram for ethical hacking stuff.

Edit - you won't damage your device if you follow the guide correctly and install apps anyhow.

But u can't read your victims whatsapp messages because it's end-to-end encryption.

I just wanted it for Wi-Fi because my own Wi-Fi is having problem.

I downloaded many apps for that and most of the apps stated that I must root my phone before that so that's why I have been trying to know more about rooting.
I'll do it.

If u connect via bettercap or whatever you still need to crack the hash that would be revealed, that u can easily blast it through John the ripper.... The best is to use it via laptop for such I can quarantee you 100% chance of hacking the wifi no matter the security or how long the password is... NOTE: computers and mobile phone inbuilt wifi modem won't do the trick... You have to buy USB wifi device that one is like 8k on jumia, it would scan all available network even from far away.

Drop a message for me, I can't teach you via words only you will get lost!!! Unless screenshare then you have to download discord But you need a powerful laptop minimum of 8gb ram, stable internet connection....
