people like Esther are nobodys who were plucked out of obscurity and suddenly believed they were yeyebrities (because they participated in a TV show). 99% of these yeye people (esther, mercy, tacha etc) are just one pic away from being nobodys again. dont ever make the mistake to compare these nobodys with actual relevant people with a body of work (no pun intended).

you are right once again when you are saying that Nudity is demanded of these people that have nothing else to offer (in order to stay relevant)... but nudity as the foundation of their "stardom" (if i can even call it that) will never work.Kim k is the only woman who was lucky to start as an nobody with sextape and countless of black dudes who've used her like pancake, but managed to turn herself around to become uber successful. majority have tried and failed miserably and disappear being labelled cheap hoes.. Paris Hilton is the biggest nobody (who also had nothing to offer) who tried to be famous the same way and failed.

female artists who gladly portray themselves as sex object most often are never taken seriously and fade after a few years... you can count in one hand the ones who succeeded that way. Madonna, Lady gaga, Nicki Minaj etc... lets see if Cardi B lasts in her own venture as sex object!

true that people who feed on this garbage are not the brightest but believe me, as soon as BBN 2020 will be over, a new yeyebrity will be created and mercy/tasha etc will further disappear from people's mind.

i dont doubt that these people make some money, endorsement etc, but after a year, there is a new tasha/mercy to take over the limelight, and get these endorsements.... and last year BBN contestants are just forgotten.

regardless of who enjoys to watch these TV reality shows, majority of the winners go right back to obscurity within 3 yrs.
the format of these shows is made for you to forget about these people (who indeed have nothing to offer) and renew your interest in the show by creating new yeyebrities.. the SHOW is what is important here, not the people they create out of thin air.

U see in life, you are not the only one in a particular field or chosen career,but to remain relevant you need to take a step ahead of others.. take mercy of bbnaija for example now, she's started her own reality show.. so in entertainment, she would remain relevant as far as she's keeping up to the show and giving her viewers what they want..

Not relevant doesnt mean you are short of your talent , it means you are not keeping up to what is in vogue..

Also dont conclude that people that watch bbnaija are not bright.. u see different things catch our attention.. e.g myself, I love America blockbuster movies....

And I also love Indian movies, especially the song and dancing aspect( I just like the sound and how dem dey sing like mumu) ..to some street guys ,they would see Indian movies as nonsense cos it doesn't appeal to their sense..whereas, I love it like mad.. does that make me dull? NO..

Keeping up with trending or breaking records are the two things that make one relevant..
