Hello to those reading this.
Pls i am having difficulty understanding how sea freight Shipping actually works.
Been using express and cargo before.
But am tyna wanting to use sea freight.
I am trying to bring in about 500pcs of a washing machine.
But i don't know how the shipment is calculated.
Can someone pls clear me on this issue

I guess d one dat will be affordable

I don't get what you mean by express and cargo

But my little understanding of the industry is this
All are called cargos what you get when you hear express cargo most times is when a it cargo is used.. in this case weight is used to calculate your package mostly in KG. But for sea cargo they use size or what they call CBM (LxWxH).

It depends on the weigh of your goods. It is calculated per CBM. I CBM can be between 70k to 100k depending on the company
