i had been away from NL for a while, then i saw in the news the Hushpuppi arrest story, and didnt believe what i was seeing. i had to come to NL to check and confirm that it was real, and true enough, there were countless threads on the subject. lol

l was in my University's "Common Room" watching a World Cup match when rain cloud started forming and a heavy rain eventually ensued leading to loss of DSTV signal.

Everyone became furious and agitated for not being able to continue watching the match.
Suddenly,a guy screamed, "GOAL". We asked him for the source of his match update and his answer was "NAIRALAND". Immediately, I became a guest on NAIRALAND. And after some years, of being a guest, I decided to become a registered member.
