Fact is Gilmour was shaky in that base from minute one. When Jorginho came in, he hardly played a back pass. Even the Commentators acknowledged his complete transformation of the game.

You know Jorginho has the eye for passes. He spread the passes very well, not just hogging possession.

You need to apologise to him.

Actually watching that again, looks like the problem was caused by James and lack of communication with Zouma

James had left Zaha alone and Chris was coming across to mark Zaha. James started the problem and left Chris with two men. Zouma should have come across to Benteke earlier but the main culprit there is James leaving Zaha alone to push up on Van Aanholt at that time of the match.

If you pause the video at 0.10, you would see that Christensen was the one checking Benteke and Jorginho was supposed to be the one chasing Zaha or so, not Chris exposing his rear. A VVD would have pointed to Jorginho there and still close up Benteke who was the most dangerous out of the two Palace attackers.
