Man, you're very true about that Bandwagon Herd Mentality. I actually hated it back then.
But recently it also grew on me.

People just hated how supes died. That was the main issue and that Martha Hodgepodge.
So much issues:

From the above to Batman killing,
To Doomsday Creation and look
To Lex Luthor's mannerisms.

But it's still got probably the hottest scene and most talked about in the DCEU and comic world— Warehouse scene.

Have you seen how you applied the formula and found out why?

When I watched it the only things I hated was that Martha scene and Doomsday's look(which I still hate) _{although not as much as before} and then the ultimate version came out and I rewatched it and I found out it was actually a really nice movie, the first time my anger no let me enjoy that Batman W/h scene cos I done dey vex from outside sef dey enter cinema but on the 2nd rewatch (ultimate edition) I even asked myself why I hated that Martha scene in the first place
The MCU also did something like that scene in endgame when Cap was fighting himself thinking it was Loki till he called Bucky but nobody criticised it..that's why I'm glad Alex discovered this formula tbh

So, yeah. The two scenarios are very different.
