Laughed all throughout..
What a ride.
Jokes were fresh,
Best comedy I've seen in years.
And those action sequences was tight too.

The Luthor guy portrayal was abysmal, nothing likeable about the character at all. His motivation was lacklustre and the plot could have been well off without him.

He's the villain. You're not meant to like him. Which means Eisenberg did a really good job. Lacklustre motivation? Plot well off without him? Are you sure you watched this movie at all? Who escalated the tension between Bats and Supes? Who created Doomsday?

My gripe with doomsday wasn't even with the CGI, it was similar to the issue I had with Ares in Wonder Woman, but doomsday was totally atrocious in that aspect, I can't even recall any personality the thing had. The villain that gets to kill superman should be more complex and complicated than that. Imagine if something or someone similar to doomsday in BVS did what thanos did in infinity war, eyes would roll and roll and roll...

Simple. Doomsday isn't meant to have any personality. He's just a genetically engineered killing machine.

The Martha scene is hated because it was lazy and didn't make much quantifiable sense.

How? You people keep saying this without any "quantifiable" explanation.

As for wonder woman, maybe I was a tad too zealous there, but I'm a fan-boy and expects more than I was given.

Why the fvvk would you expect a PERSONALITY from Doomsday. Even the Krypton Show with a better CGI Doomsday really has no personality. Just sheer Carnage and Destruction.
Even with a rich backstory for Doomsday (before he became an unstoppable weapon), it really didn't have a personality to it.

Well, I agree Lex Luthor's portrayal was Wack AF. angry

Margin Call - 7/10
The corporate world is a crazy jungle.
One minute you are the toast of the town, and next minute you are out, ostracised, and promptly forgotten. shocked

But the house always wins. lipsrsealed

No apologies to all the poor bastards out there hoping to cash in on the next best stock.

This movie is a good depiction of the blurred lines these sharks navigate daily.
And the humongous paychecks they receive for their efforts.

But money is never enough......... undecided

Boiler Room - 7/10
Ben Affleck and Vin Diesel looking so boyish grin

As much as this story is about stockbrokers and their market,
my major take away is the relationship between our lead actor and his father.

No price for being a parent, but please understand your children.
So many 'soft' kids nowadays.
Imagine a man blaming the father for his own dysfunctional behavior because of a spanking he received at age 10. embarassed

God no go shame us.....

Really entertaining, would have loved to see it at the theatre, but I can't exactly complain from the comfort of my own room. Also, the soundtrack is top notch, I'll definitely be watching it again.

Decided to try and see all the Star Wars Movies... Saw Rogue one before this, they seemed similar, death Star and all.. And I finally got to see the famous Gold Bikini...not bad, heard the Gold Bikini alot in the Big Bang Theory series... Even Lando Calrissian, heard the name alot in Boondocks, never even knew that was a Star Wars reference...

Well, Onto the next one...
