monakii:Your mobile phone, tablet, laptop, GoTV/startimes decoder, rechargeable clippers, rechargeable fans and android TV box etc are all in a sense AC/DC devices that run on AC via their external power pack (which converts the incoming AC to DC before it enters the device. Just as you can jettison your phone AC charger and continue charging via DC supply from a power bank, so also you can decide to jettison the AC chargers of those other items and power them on laptop power bank and other DC direct sources that correspond with their rated voltage. Ditto, DC TVs, AC/DC fans etc. So yes, all DC TVs should be able to run on AC source via a power pack that converts the 230vac to 24v, 12v or 9v DC outputs that powers your TV port depending on the DC voltage requirements of the device. |

LudaChriz:Like every other manufacturer, AMANI claims to be giving everyone an opportunity to live with intelligent technology. But technology pass technology. What I know is, this tv is cheaper, and made from cheaper materials, and the technology isn't as superb as you know them other brands bag... And, in a case whereby it get faulty are there readily available parts? There are many issues that arises from buying cheaper items (though, cheaper doesn't connote inferior, but within this context, it could be substandard or inferior or even fake). More often than not, Cheaper products always associates with poor quality. So, you may consider your OPTIONS if you have any. You'd agree with me as we all know that cheaper imports from China such as electronics don't either work properly or breaks down early as the materials used are not durable. Cheap produce are always of a very bad quality and they're produced in unsustainable ways, and the downside of low-priced goods surpasses the benefits. You may have to reconsider. |

Let me show u and other who might be willing to help me how far I've gone before got stcucked inbetween [i]Use this tool in connection to: *Get rid of cyclic spontaneous reboots of your Philips Android TV... *Recover your Philips Android TV in case you get continuous boot-loops, where Philips and/or Android logo does not even show up... *Stop your Philips Android TV to wake up spontaneously from stand-by mode... *Delete all data and refresh TV's android system Part A - Wiping Data (All data/apps/settings will be deleted): 1. Unplug the power cord from the power outlet. 2. Press and hold arrow "Down" on the joypad at the back of the TV. 3. Afterwards re-plug the TV to the power outlet, wait 10 seconds and enter "Android System Recovery" mode. Please not that on some models of Philips Android TV's joypad does not trigger "Android System Recovery" therefore use ADB command: adb reboot recovery (help) 4. Download ZIP file containing "WipeDataTool.upg" to your PC and unzip it to the root of USB drive. 5. It is recommended to disconnect all other USB devices from the TV. 6. Connect USB drive with a prepared file to the TV. 7. Select the menu item "Apply update from external storage" with up/down buttons on remote control and start the "WipeDataTool.upg". 8. Wait until you see the recovery menu again with confirmation message "WipeData completed". 9. Use remote control to select "Reboot system now". TV needs to boot into the operating mode. Warning! If the TV will continue to restart, contact your local Philips technical support to further address your Philips Android TV issue Part B - Reinstall TV (All data/apps/settings will be deleted): 1. Reinstall the device via Setup - General Settings - Reinstall TV 2. Select "Yes". 3. After displaying initial settings on TV screen, remove the power cord from the outlet for 10-15 minutes. 2mrw That's all...... Kindly help me out. Thanks in anticipation |

Hello Experts in the house; I want to purchase an affordable 43" Smart TV for an elderly (mother-in-law) just for You Tube and Netflix. Budget is around 100K to 110K. Would you recommend all these cheaper options that fall in that range like UFC, Armani, Samsonic, Infinix etc? The other cheaper options are now getting more expensive and out of budget eg Hisense and Polystar. Which one would you recommend please? Thanks |

i gave my technician my tv to fix a power issue as the did not power on. the guy fix it only for the for the screen to return with this. i take it back to him, he said it is heat that it will go when i start using it. house, i want to know whether it will go or the screen is damage

Hello house, I am having issues with my LG TV. It accepts input from my HDMI cable (DSTV and Playstation) but when i use AV cables for my DVD player, i do not get any sound input. I do get pictures though. I have tried both AV ports to no avail. Yet DSTV na d Playstation works. I thought DVD was faulty but i had the same issue when i tried plugging in a retro console that runs on AV cable too. Clear picture but no sound. I had gotten sound from the DVD in the past with the same TV. Thanks |

Preator:Have you tried changing this option of "PAL" and "SECAM"? I am not sure if flatsecreen has it but I know that with box TVs, such issues come up with AV connection if when the recording is done with PAL, you'll not get audio if you select SECAM. Another feature of that is that the picture will be in monochrome, but you said the picture was clear in yours so the PAL-SECAM thingy might not be the problem after all. |
