I agree with you. He is also not a CM, nor an AM. Kudos to Conte for using him in the only way that he could contribute - playing only 20 minutes with not just 2 DMs but also 3 centrebacks behind him to protect him. Despite already playing 70 minutes and him coming in with fresh legs, the opposition midfield will still run him over, so kudos to Conte for mitigating that risk with 5 men behind him.
