They seem content at passing the ball for large spells of the game, the less said about our backline the better for sanity and peace of mind.
We need to address our defensive woes both structurally and personnel wise we can't be conceding goals at any given opportunity, even the calamitous Boateng is a lot better than the bunch of good for nothing center backs at Chelsea.

The issue of defense is not JUST a personnel problem. We had these same players under Maurizio Sarri & we had the 3rd Best defensive record last season! So, this is also down to the coach. Lampard needs to figure out the systematic issues if he wants to compete at the top

This may be partly true. But I think Lampard can't be solely blamed for our defensove woes this season, considering the fact that Kepa is a major weak link as Chelsea's last line of defense.

Courtois was definitely a better keeper for Chelsea than Kepa and helped reduce the number of goals conceded (and defeats as well, I think) during Sarri's stint at the club.

However, if you have attackers who can actually contribute in attack, you'll outscore the opposition. Sure, defences win titles, but attacks win games like these.
