May be he was trying to point out the Joint naval exercise held by Indian Eastern Naval Command and US Indo Pacific Naval Command, during the Search and destroy war scenario Indian submarines were able to locate US Subs and Locked their Heavy Torpedo system on them. That too happend 3 times during five days deep sea exercise.

That exercise was an eye opening for American navy and validated the point why Indian Navy rejected American and French sonars and went for USHUS Sonars developed by an Indian company BEL. After that BEL received more orderes.

He must have mistook that as WAR with NATO.

- The Olifant Mk2 is a 21st century tank and entered service in 2007..... However years of experience in Southern Africa has proved tracked vehicles like tanks are not as effective hence SANDF are all wheeled and not Tracked.

Nigeria is going to buy 50 more units of the VT-4 battle tanks, there are also plans for more armed attack drones. And the deep blue projects will mean Nigeria will be able to locate any ship entering the Nigerian water space, if it is within 250 km of Nigeria’s coastline, a ship can be there in half an hour, with fully armed navy officers. Piracy will die in Nigeria by 2022, after this project is done. I am especially excited for the SDB-3, Nigeria will get missile capability in its navy again, we will be able to down massive ships, I think we are getting three or four ships with missiles capabilities in the next few years.
