Naval Officer Cries Out In Viral Video Over Maltreatment

There has been an outcry in Jos, the plateau state capital, over the maltreatment of one of her indigene, Seaman Haruna Goshit, who is serving in the Nigerian Navy.

Haruna who was assigned as an orderly to one rear Admiral I.O Mohammed narrated his terrible ordeal in the hands of his superior, some of the things he mentioned were Sweeping his house, Accompanying his kids to night clubs, and even paying for goods from his own account many times.

You could see that he has exhausted all the options available to him within the system and this seem to be the last resort. It's better to loose his job than loose his life.

With this now in the public domain, they will think twice before attempting to harm him.

This orderly bullshit is far worse in the army. You go serve as gateman, clear farmland, wash Oga car, escort him pikin to school and clubs, act as his driver, do security for Oga wife, run errands etc.

He is a Naval Non-Commissioned Officer. The Op is very correct. Ratings are also officers but under NCOs.
