Hello guys. With the way things are going. I don't think I will go on parsing midis.

I don't like the results I'm seeing.....

Re: Project Hymnary ---- The Hymns Solfa App by ABCthingx: 5:51am On Jul 17, 2020

I dunno if you'll understand but let me still write this. The problem is that the midis are quite irregular.

We have two parts joined together in a track and in a situation whereby the parts are to sing the same note. The parser can't Identify which one is which.

So I try representing them graphically like In the above pics. But I know it will be quite unreadable to the older people.

So I guess we just have to go the mechanical way.
1000 hymns, no big deal.

Sorry for no keeping my words considering the fact that today is 4th of Aug.

I network has been quite challenging here but I am still unfazed

I've been developing another app to assist in typing the solfas I never knew making an ordinary notepad app could that arduous. Imagine 1 being no longer equal to 1 or null != null.

Weird things do happen.

I wish to finish soon, I wanna go back to learning game dev. with J2ME.

Re: Project Hymnary ---- The Hymns Solfa App by ABCthingx: 10:48am On Sep 04, 2020
Yeah, I'm still making the keypads so the hymns will be delicious to type. tongue

My laptop has a 2gb ram. I'm still saving to buy a bigger ram.
