I think you meant to type mongoose.... True, but they aren't the only animals that have snakes on the menu, I mean even birds too feed on snakes, komodo dragon etc...

But one of the meanest animals out there for not just snakes but any other animals even its kind is the honey badger, lol. It almost doesn't understand the concept of defeat, lol...

Is it a goose or mongoose .. i actual that animal take on a black mamba snake .... the game plan was the goose kept drifting, get d snake exhaust n with one bite on the head .. food was ready such an innocent creature

most toxins and venoms contain chains of amino acids(proteins), so logically, sufficient heat should, in theory, denature the toxin/venom and make it safe for consumption.
But, this is one of those cases where you're better off safe than sorry.
why eat something that could potentially kill you if you don't have to?

It's a fact, hence, u would have seen it on any wildlife program. The closest to wolves in Africa is Jackal. There is also a debate about the Jackal found in Ethiopia and Egypt called grey wolf.

There are several animals in the world that are not in found in Africa even though they live in similar habitat. Example of those are Tigers, Bears(whether it's polar, panda, grizzly, coala etc), Anaconda, rein deers, Caribou, kangaroo, kiwi, etc
