7. Prices of food and other household items remained stable and inflationary pressure was down to a single digit.

8. Under Jonathan, Nigeria controlled clinically Ebola outbreak to the admiration of the whole world, became Guinea-worm-free and also eradicated polio, with United States billionaire and renowned philanthropist Bill Gates, praising Nigeria’s successes against polio as one of the great world achievements of 2014. Sadly polio has returned to the country with the likes of Shettima in charge of the endemic states.

@Topic that Itakpe-Warri railway was conceived pre-1999 because of the functional Steel companies back then. It was designed originally for the transportation of iron ore and other heavy minerals from Itakpe to Delta steel company in Warri, but Obasanjo started the real construction with Julius Berger after he became civilian President. Obj left it at about 30% completion with flyovers constructed across major expressways for rail tracks to pass.
GEJ government settled several Court cases on land compensation which Obj left behind, and took the project to 80% completion.
Buhari government brought in Chinese to continue the construction and also add Passenger/commuter use to the original purpose of Cargo use.

This is just a brief summary of what has been going on. Are you not surprised that the rail didn't come directly to Abuja despite being a lucrative transport route.
The answer is Abuja was not incorporated into the original design because the rail was original not meant for passengers but transportation of iron ore and other heavy raw materials.

The two Presidents and Rotimi Amaechi are busy mending their relationships and setting matters while we are here cursing them and abusing ourselves in the name of political party.
