How did you know about this?

What would you had rather done? The issue of unemployment is pervasive in the country.

Barbing is like an art. What is your field of study?

To go and do what, exactly?

Is still really scriptural? Can you locate instances of this in the Scriptures?

What ministry is that?

When was the first time you got this supposed call?

Do they have their own churches?
I studied physics education and yes, they have their churches.
For the remaining questions, it's a very long story but I'm 100% sure God has called me. I may share my experiences later or open a thread on it entirely

Interesting!

Well, barbing is an art, my opinion though. It is an art like painting and if you do not really have deep passion for it, you may not make a living out of it. Again, my opinion.

I may get back to this later.

Your responses would have helped to clear a lot of things.

God called you to do what? To join the world-churches? I doubt that is what calls anyone for

Well, I am not going to say what you may like to hear.

The God of the Scriptures, Genesis to Revelation - not excluding the other Books that did not make it into the sixty-six books, will not call anyone to go and erect or rent a building where such individual sits as managing director and people come in daily or weekly and such an individual sits upon them and teaches them for years, upon years, upon years.

The Father in heaven has used his apostles to compile and complete his Scriptures. He has sealed his Scriptures. The saints have been called out of the world to be light wherever they are. Wherever the saints work, whether in public establishments or individual establiment, they have been admonished to do it to the glory of our Father and he will bless them there. Whatever kind of honest work the saints do; they are serving our Father in heaven.

A saint's honesty, diligence, sincerity, etc, at his or her place of work must reflect the God he or she serves. Whatever they, the saints, lay their hands to do; they do it with excellence.

Every saint of the Father in heaven is called.

My take

! Thank God you said it's your take cos dier whole lot of fallacy in these your write up.

And for the bolded, many are called few are chosen. The foremost Apostles of Jesus were chosen and didn't add any other work to what they did God supplied them their needs, even though Jesus had many disciples apart from the twelve.

Paul mentioned that he was a tent maker but was it ever mentioned that he made tent for anyone in the scripture? No. Possibly som1 was managing that job for him. And for someone like him that propagated the gospel near and far won't have time to seat and be making tents.

Since you are not God that called him, you never know what contract and covenant they had together.

@Ay92 your call is between you and God, don't let any man sway you away with what they don't know about... If you need more explanation and direction seek God that called you, He's not far from you! Grace.

PLEASE THIS THREAD IS NOT FOR ATHEISTS OR HALF BAKED CHRISTIANS
Hello everyone!
This issue has been bothering me for a very long time now. I knew I would be a man of God ever since I was a small boy. But I still went ahead to pursue my education. I completed my NYSC in 2017 and since then I've got no good job. So I went ahead to learn barbing which till this day I don't understand despite having clippers. I had to forcefully register at a theological seminary not long ago after receiving a very strong warning in my dreams that I will suffer a lot if I don't return to the ministry that God has called me to.
But what worries me now is that I don't know if things are difficult because I didn't heed the call of God, and then all the men of God around me are full time pastors and things are sometimes difficult for them. I don't like begging people for money and I always tell God that I don't want to depend on anyone for money and I'm not going into the ministry for the sake of riches. So "experienced people" ,CAN I HAVE A SIDE JOB LIKE A BARBER SHOP ALONG SIDE THE MINISTRY?
You're not ready to serve the true God! cheesy cheesy cheesy
