Are Nigerians Born Selfish And Are They Thieves From Birth? by TakingItBack: 9:31pm On Jul 18, 2020
I will like us to ask ourselves some questions.

Are Nigerians born selfish and are they thieves from birth? or is it the environment that turn them?

How did this environment came to be, where can it be traced from? Who are those that planted it?

This environment, who does it favour? The citizens or the leaders?

If this environment where to be changed who is it going to favour and who are those they are going to feel sad?

Among the citizens and leaders who are likely to change this environment easily without much problem?

Now if these questions are correctly answered we will know where part of our problems are from,

When The Europeans left us,( Africa as a whole) they intentionally left us in the hands of men who were selfish and greedy,( foolish men) so that they can easily make deals that will still be favouring them and their economy in the expense of the people of Africa, that's why the men who wanted to do good in Africa were killed off, even when seemed for help they didn't render, these evil men who where left to run the country started looking public funds for theirselves and family in order for the people not to unity and fight them, they created an environment of hatred and tribalism so that the people can't be one, even in the army, they made sure before you gain favour for anything you must give something in return, they created nepotism so that before you can think about another person you must think about yourself and family first, they shifted people's eyes from desiring the good of the society but for theirs only, they knew in order to further this hatred and selfishness then religion must be targeted, cos it is only religion that could enlighten people to fight, the pastors, fathers and imams were given Hugh amount of money for prayers and support, this politicians will support one project or the other in the church or mosque and our religious leaders will tell them, may God or may Allah bless you, even to the point of telling the poor masses to pray for them for God or Allah to keep blessings them and help their endeavours ( looting) these same masses who these politicians has stolen from.

Our fathers couldn't see through all this cos they were occupied with fighting for their tribes(tribal wars) while all these came as a result of the selfishness and lust for power from the Eastern/south south leaders, the northern leaders and the south west leaders, but they made the masses fight for their own selfish reasons, our fathers never for once join hands together to fight the enemies of the masses those that tried to fight were killed or got jailed, if you were a hard nut to crack they settle you. These men has since remained in power and things has gone from bad to worst and it will keep to get worse if nothing is done. This environment that was created by the leaders in order to help them stay in power for the rest of their lives and loot Nigeria to death has now turned to a culture, it is now a way of life for a Nigerian to get a little extra money from where he is working by stealing infact in Nigeria is not seen as stealing we see it as smartness, and when someone tries to be different they see him as a fool.
Till this day I have it hard to blame Nigerian( the masses) especially people from this generation, they act the way they do because that's how they have been taught to live, this is the only way they know how to live their live ( selfish, greedy, make money by all means cos that all that matters, be scared of the government (leaders) no much interest in politics or political activities e.t.c)

It is not that they do not want good governance, or a better society the issue is that they do not believe that Nigeria can get better, because they can seen so many killed for trying to question the status quo and that's the major difference between them and us, we believe that Nigeria is redeemable and there are also people like us who are out there but can't do anything cos they haven't seen people like them, so we all should make it as an obligation to seek out this

If we don’t Join a Party with a revolutionary Movement. What are we doing? We can’t keep visiting a country which is working. And abandon our Country which is being ruled by expired elites...

The Nigeria issue really is bad. And its good that we already know that its ONLY possible to make change if and only if we do it in a group formation. Remember, there is ALWAYS POWER IN NUMBERS.

The question is HOW do we as Nigerians get this change we NEED?
We have a lot of problems which birth more problems making Nigerians find it hard to live in Nigeria.
•Political thuggery,

•Police /SARS brutality (I have been on gun point with the police for at least twice for absolutely no reason).,

•Election rigging,

•Unemployment (imagine jobless Nigerian buying Jobs especially govt jobs as high as 250,000 per slot, that's if you'll even get the job.

•Gross decay of our educational system,

•Mind blowing corruption ( like seriously, in Nigeria -snakes can swallow Billions of Naira, rats can invade a presidential villa and Billions be spent to repel the rats. and its fine for our government to dole out this crazy news knowing that dumb Nigerian will just make jokes about it and calm down, comedy is all we like right?

Worse so, youths don't have jobs in Nigeria and worst is that other countries either deny us entry or restrict Nigerians from employment in their countries. This makes us stuck in odd positions of unemployment, impoverished living, stress etc while our Rulers are killing us in and out.

The list of our wahala is endless and mostly linked to our government (both the voters and the voted for and more especially the clowns that refuse to ever vote).

So the question is still. What or How can the change be achieved?

All of us youths need to come together as one whether Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Muslim, Christian, or traditionalist we have to fight this collective

We should try as much as we can to get students and young professionals involved in this movement. It is our movement, our future, our lives, and our country at stake. We can't be as docile as our parents had been to leave it all to the demons while sitting like lame ducks who'd complain and resort to prayers of "God dey" to wish it out. We are taking action to wrest our country from the stranglehold of the vampires such that our kids born and unborn would be proud of us when they hear or read the history of our patriotism and quiet revolt.

Needless to say , the so called 20 years of democratic dispensation has not only dispensed with the lives and welfare of the Nigerian people, the so called transition is notting but a transition from military dictatorship to civilian authoritarianism. The past 20years have however revealed that the PDP & APC have no fundamental difference other than such difference that exists between an armed robber and 419. both anti-poor parties are like the biblical satan who have only come to steal from the masses , kill them with bullets of poverty , insecurity , inadequate healthcare and finally to wreck destruction on their Future.

If you would like to join this movement please reply this message and stay connected

We weren't '' born selfish'' neither '' thief from birth'', just the way others around the world were/are birthed innocently, so were/are we...

We grow in a deformed system, conditioned to favour just the fittest..

ThankYou. I agree with you and we can’t just keep watching with the failed system out there and hoping it will fix its self, we need to fix something

All of us youths need to come together as one whether Igbo, Yoruba, Hausa, Muslim, Christian, or traditionalist, e no matter.

If we go fit close our eyes to the artificial differences wey dem take dey oppress and thief us blind, una go understand say Nigeria dey salvageable, and our collective enemies wey no many reach we wey dem dey oppress go run leave this country if dem get the chance.

Person wey know himself no fit die two times, na only coward dey die before him real death come.

Nigerian matter don dey weigh me down for too long and I no fit pretend say e no concern me again. Even if I go lose my life in the process to get one better movement going to begin to reclaim our country back so that we go get something to enjoy small for the small life wey still remain for us, and to also get something and country to handover to our children wey dem don born and the one's wey dem never born, I no mind at this level abeg.

Na 2023 dey come so and na another election dem wan do. The same thieves wey don destroy our country and future don already dey warm up and the worst thing be say na youths like us dey project and sing their praises even though say dem know say these people na we collective enemies wey no care about us but for themselves and their families.

Honestly i agree with all u said except on ur mode on making things ryt is just going to mess things up! The chaos that comes with a revolution is something that we should be weary of keeping in mind the criminal tendencies of nigerians. Best course of action should be the ballots else chaos will spread nd the country will officially become a failed state.

Northerners are NOT more in population. They simply control the army which they use to make sure there is NEVER going to be a free election or true census in Nigeria.

That is why i laugh at anyone still harboring any illusion that Nigeria can ever improve without an armed struggle.

Irony of Life in Nigeria
Copied/Edited...

Rich man marries and have 4 children. Poor man marries and start mass production of children that he can't afford to train because the only thing that gives poor man joy is the body of his wife.

The country has beaten him to the level that sex is his only idea of enjoyment.

Politicians steal your money, sleep with your wife and girlfriends and sister, make sure you don't go to school, even when you struggle to, he makes sure you don't finish on time let alone getting a job.

He sends his children to the best schools abroad so they will take over from him when he is done playing with your future.

He initiates a poverty alleviation program, videos himself cutting tapes during the mounting of an electric pole. He gives you N4000, bags of rice at rallies and arms to fight his opponents.

He paints the roads and puts Street lights when there are no light in your home. You hail him!

He spends millions on billboards of his fake projects, hires the best PR experts to keep you drooling with hunger and uninformed and keep on doing damages to your common sense. You defend him.

Second tenure, no jobs, no food, the N4000 has finished and the bag of rice wasting in the pit of your toilet. He must recover the billions he spent buying your votes. For he is not qualified to lead but you qualified him.

You start making use of the guns he bought for you. You kill the poor like yourself who is suffering the effects of the N4000 and bag of rice that you took. You try to Kidnap his friends, their police orderlies fire back at you.

His friends tell him that there is insecurity in town and it will affect their mobilization for him for second term.

He shouts ahhhh, second tenure is like the second round of sex that puts one to sleep after, except, perhaps, he works for vivid entertainment or one of those Hollywood porn industries.

He complains of lack of security to the commissioner of police and General Officer Commanding, Air Officer commanding or the Flag Officer Commanding.

He spends millions hosting them. They tell him what to do. By now, you have become a threat.

He buys even a bigger gun for the police and the military plus operational vehicles.

He pays for radio and TV jingles to warn you.

You rob, you die. You protest, you die. You stay at home, you die of starvation.

Then, you get recommended to a church/mosque and since you can't pay tithes, pastor/imam turns you into an errand boy.

He sends you to buy biscuits for his children, wash pants for his wife and clean his cars.

You sweep the church/mosque for free while awaiting your heavenly reward while the pastor/imam fly private jets and drive flashy sedans.

You are happy that your pastor/imam is rich and argue for him in midst of your friends.

He runs to the UK/Dubai at the slightest symptoms of headache but prays for you when you are sick and tells you to bring your sick mother to church/mosque for prayers instead of taking her to hospitals to waste money.

She dies and he tells you that it was God's will while his mother has been in the UK/Dubai for months receiving the best treatment that tithes can buy.

You meet your Rev. Pastor, General Overseer, Chief Imam who are now your daddy and their wives are your mummy for assistance to pay your rent, feed or go to hospitals for treatment, they place you on 7 days dry fasting and prayer and deliverance services and assure you that healing and prosperity are of God, if you will worship him in his true holiness.

If you fail to make it to church/mosque, you be the one to condemn yourself before any other. You're already enslaved by what they tell you but they don't do what they tell you.

The General overseers and Chief Imam, the occultists, native doctors, big time corporate fraudsters and politicians meet in a dinner at Dubai to decide your fate.

He buys a new land for a new church/mosque branch, you help to carry blocks and turn concrete, then collect blessings as reward. You are happy to be working for the salvation of your soul, heaven will pay.
The pastor/imam lives his heaven on earth.

The new church/mosque building is completed on your sweat.

He invites the president, governor, senator, house of representative member and every other person who made sure that you are poor by design.

The whole area is policed with guns and armored cars. You are comfortably seated at the back while straining your neck to see who and who came.

The president and governor and senator plus their contractor friends donate hundreds of millions for the new church/mosque while you cheer from the back.

The food they shared didn't get to you but you are happy the president and governor and senator came to your church/mosque. You even brag to others of how your pastor/imam is well connected.

You get home, hunger Knocks angrily on the belly door, your neighbor bails you out while you wait for heaven to pay.

10 years on the jobless job, pastor's/imam's children have been sent abroad for studies. Age is no longer on your side, pastor/imam hooks you up with another aunty that sweeps the church/mosque for free with no education just like you and Weds you both on a Friday evening church/mosque service and you are happy. Your children starts the cycle all over again.

What is the difference between an Ordinary Thief (OT) & a Political Thief (PT)?

1) The *Ordinary Thief* steals your money, bag, watch, gold chain etc.;
But the *Political Thief* steals your future, career, education, health & business!

2) The hilarious part is: The *Ordinary Thief* will choose whom to rob; But you, yourself chose the *Political Thief* to rob you.

3) The most ironic one: Police will chase and nab the *Ordinary Thief;* while the Police will look after and protect the *Political Thief!*

That’s the *travesty cum irony* of our current society!

And, we blindly say we are not blind!

It may not make sense to many but just read and be wise.

Bandits has been causing mayhem long before big brother Nigeria emerge, the government is insensitive so what do you expect. Just like other leisures, big brother Nigeria is one, the viewers have choice anyway to either watch or not. Whether multi choice broadcast that show or not, crime will be on the increase

In my opinion, our leaders are neither bad nor good.

Our issue lies mainly in our source of government revenue. If people were taxed in Nigeria as they are in western (UK) nations, Nigerians would hold their leaders to account and all the looting would be stopped, the nepotism will also reduce.

With oil money being governments source of income, whoever is president has the ability to steal as much as possible without consequences

In the Arab Emirates, when a young prince becomes king, he initially steals to the fullest until he realizes he is king for a lifetime so amassing personal wealth becomes less appealing.

In Nigeria on the other hand, a president is only guaranteed 4 years with the hope of being reelected for an additional 4 years. Such a person realizing that he has an open cheque for only 4 years would steal enough money to care for his tenth generation.

Our problem is that we are a democratic state but we are run like a monarchy (Emirate) and not our elected officials.

In democracy the people pay taxes to get services. government workers and officials are paid by the people, so they are held to account by the people. In a monarchy, the source of revenue is unimportant. The king is answerable to no one.
