Due to the obvious vulnerabilities in our backline, I'll opt for a 3-4-3 against manyoo.

Alonso can't be trusted in a back four, so I'll have him deployed in his favoured left wingback, Reece on the right, Azpi, Rudiger and Zouma completing the defensive setup.

Against the ball, we will operate in a 5-4-1 shape with the wing-backs acting alongside the 3 defenders to make a back 5.

With a 5-man defensive line, our defense can cover more width on the field. Chris can push forward and be a DM, when Mount pushes up to AM
James can add pace and crosses (besides I want Cesar fresh for Liverpool, he can start or be subbed in, either one) he may prefer the RWB role
Alonso plays best at LWB.
Kovacic can also play DM, then move to CM or box to box, with his pace and dribbling.
Odoi, Abraham, Pulisic to capitalize on their fatigue, run at them interchange and besides Odoi used to play good cross from right wing then.

The essence would be speed, along with out shots and crosses

United right wing might be weaker in attack so Alonso should do a decent job halting AWB's runs.

Kovacic should be on Bruno with the occasionally tackles from Chris

If Tomori is fit I would swap Rudiger for Tomori or Zouma.

I would love for him to win it. He is only 2 goals behind Vardy and the latter will be playing against Spurs and Man Utd. So let's wait and see.

You are right on the money. The moment I saw him step up in place of JWP or even S. Long, I knew his team want him to win the golden boot. There is also the angle of playing against his former team. Over all, it was a bad penalty but he is in form.
