This is the time you should be updating, when data traffic is lower.......

Pausing during update is not device related, but your network provider.........

Redmi 8a is a good device (being a redmi user too) but a7 pro is a sweet device too. One is having 2/32gb (redmi) while the other is having (4/64gb). The first is having HD+ while the other is having FHD. The previous runs on MIUI over Android 9 while the latter runs a pure Android 10. They're both great devices but what you actually seek in device of your choice should be what would determine ur choice

The Redmi 8A is a good device... But I'll advise you go for the Umidigi A7 Pro. A7 pro gives you a better value for your money.
