There are not only reaping what has been sown , but maintaining it as well upon how Africa lacks maintaining culture...

You are talking as if the government are not doing anything at all or the masses are not benefitting anything at all.

They might have not met up to expectations, but at least things are moving not in stagnant position...

And how about Calabar and it's environment?

Calabar was the capital during the 'dark ages'. Did you even know there were no automobiles or major technological advancement during that era? Why would you want to compare Calabar that was used as an administrative center during a time when horses and trekking were the available means of inland transportation with Lagos that was the capital during modern times?

Did you even know that most of the key infrastructures in Lagos were developed in the 1970's, a period of the famed cement Armada when ships flooded the coast of Lagos?

If Lagos is what it is today based on Yoruba efforts, then why didn't you replicate it elsewhere in the SW?

The emerging hype is Ogun state but have you wondered why? The reason is simple, Lagos is filled up already so the spillover is naturally going to Ogun as the nearest state to Lagos. The IGR of Ogun is not coming from its biggest towns like Abeokuta or others but from the industrial estate in Sango Ota and Agbara, which were built to cater for Lagos.

If the capital of Nigeria had been Calabar or P.H. etc. between 1919 to 1993, a whopping 74 years and during Nigeria's haydays, the places would have been exactly the same way Lagos is while Lagos would have been more or less like how Calabar is at the moment.

Abuja was a jungle filled with wild animals as recently as 1993, but do you see how the city is at the moment? Is Abuja not currently as developed as Lagos in just over 2 decades! Is Abuja currently the way it is due to the Gwaris who are indigenous to the place?

If Abuja can rival Lagos already in less than 30 years, from being a jungle, can you imagine what will happen when Abuja attains the same 74 years Lagos enjoyed as capital of Nigeria??

I don't why we will see the truth as educated people and still turn around to make idiotic statements.

Maybe you should go and move the whole Abia from its current spot and move Ogun back to the muddy region.

—The 6 SS states are benefiting from being massive oil producers

Ogun may come above FCT but it is 100% due to Lagos!

If Abia or any other state at that borders Lagos the way Ogun did, they will still be able to reap off from Lagos. The governors that ruled Ogun have not done anything extraordinary in recent times and neither is it due to indigenes.

Every other comparison you made is not applicable in this context.
