Tinubu and Kalu were governors from 1999-2007, they both enjoyed immunity all through their tenure. So, how did Kalu saved Tinubu from Obasanjo?

You guys are probably mixing things up. It was Ayo Fayose that went to hide in Abia state governement house after he was impeached and declared wanted by Obasanjo. Tinubu had no reason to hide in Abia, he had immunity so Obasanjo can not touch him even if he truly wanted. Beside, Obasanjo hated Kalu as much as he hated Tinubu that time. If Tinubu was ever in trouble with with Obasanjo, Kalu is the last person that would have saved him then.
