EDO 2020: Ex Revenue Collectors Endorse Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu(VIDEO)

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming gubernatorial election in Edo State, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has been endorsed by Ex-Revenue Collectors (popularly called “agberos”) in the State.

The event took place on the 18th of July, 2020 and was attended by Founder, Akugbe Ventures, Tony Kabaka, Founder, Edo Drivers on Wheel, Comrade Shabba who led their acolytes drawn across the 18 Local Government Areas in the state.
In opening the event, Tony Kabaka addressed his comrades as the Lions and Tigers who protect votes during elections and announced Pastor Ize-Iyamu has their preferred candidate.

In responding to the gesture, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu thanked the “agberos” and promised his government will favour them.

In his usual charismatic manner, Ize-Iyamu said: “Your influence goes beyond one polling unit, you will do your unit and you will move to another polling unit, in fact you will even move other wards, and some of you are so dangerous, you will move to another Local Government.

He further urged them to go back to their Local Government to ensure its delivered.

“Na many of una e go favour because wetin una fit do, many big men nor fit do am, I want assure una say things go good.” He said

The Governor Obaseki led Edo State Government had introduced technology in revenue collection and it put the Ex-Revenue collectors out of jobs.
