I am a sucker for movies and series with great dialogues, that comes first then the plot twist. I guess that's one of the reasons I would prefer reading great novels to watching it's film adaptations. There is always more in spoken or written words.


Game of thrones, Exam, Breaking bad and Power(forget the action, it has some of the " baddest"dialogues) are all great with that.

You're correct @emboldened. Movie adaptations usually fall short of their novels source because they have little time to cover the length and breadth of the novel.


Franchise like Lord of The Rings, despite having a combined 9 hours or even more, still missed out on many descriptions in the novel. Same applies to Game of Thrones, Harry Potter and the rest.
