I don't advise you risk your rent given the present economic situation. Put the 250k in a high yield savings plan like the Carbon app and work towards saving the rest. Get another side hustle to give you the income to risk for investing.

Not a good idea with six months to go.But if you see a good 6 month investment that is not risky,you may go ahead.
