2007 honda city vtec has paddle shifters.
Used it about twice since I owned the vehicle.
Not really interested in the feature. Didn't buy an automatic to continue stressing my hands and brain.
I let the auto do its thing.
But that 2015 corolla is everywhere in Lagos na Nurey. I saw more than 10 yesterday and I was just in my neighbourhood.

Don't these come with CVTs? What's the point of paddle shifters?

Yes. It came with a CVT. However, you can select a manual mode on the steering wheel and then use your paddle shifters.
I don't see the point of it anyway.
I just stick it in d and drive.

Some people have not even entered a car with paddle shifters, so my brother as long as Camry 4cylinder and Corolla rain supreme in Nigeria, leave paddle shifters alone and start talking about fuel economy

I know that. The paddle shifters use an electronic system to 'achieve' the gear shifts. It may be simulated but it's there.

Used the paddle shifter, after many weeks of it just been a decorative feature........ cheesy

Fingers gets tired, but a trade off..... You feel the raw power + high rev blues........ angry

Watch YouTube videos on how to engage cruise control...... It's not like autopilot ó..... No engage cruise control and grab pillow ó........

Remember you have to be on at 40 miles per hour to use it.
When it is active, you can move your foot off the accelerator and just steer.
You can use the brake pedal to cancel.

Sir there are some sections of East-west road that’s smooth and you can drive 40-50 Klms smoothly. Except the men in uniforms.

after ijebu Ode my brother heading to Benin you can drive a Bugatti at 400km for 20mins if you get the liver all thanks to SUKUK fund grin

Now I see where you got it mixed up, That's not the east-west road, That's the Benin Lagos express road. The East-West Road begins in Sapele and Ends just B4 Aba.

I do 140km there never seen no 4king herdsmen herd their cattles to the highway, even trailers maintain 100km steady.

Besides any herder I see in the middle of the road is a gunner, I know they are prominent highway robbers

The East-West road is also from Benin - Port Harcourt - Akwa Ibom.

If you’re going to Ughelli. After you drop from the Kaiama bridge in Bayelsa. I still maintain that you will drive 20 minutes without marching break except police set up check points. I just drove this route on Friday.
