Oil Theft: NSCDC Arrests 10 Suspected Oil Thieves, Seizes Trucks In Rivers

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps has arrested 10 suspected oil thieves and seized four trucks filled with adulterated diesel in Port Harcourt and other parts of Rivers State.



The Commandant, NSCDC, Rivers State, Muktar Lawal, who disclosed these to newsmen while parading the suspects in Port Harcourt said the arrests were made in different parts of local government areas of the state.


Displaying some of the Exhibit at the command headquarters the commandant noted that one of the trucks was conveying fertilizer, while the AGO was concealed underneath.



The State commandant muktar lawal urged members of the public to report any strange movement as the command would not relent in the fight against the destruction of critical national assets and infrastructure in the state.


Commandant Muktar said the suspects would be charged as soon as investigations were concluded.
