And u wan sell ur wedding gift? Not fair na, at least na gift wey person give u, if u no wan use am then dash am out to someone else too. It is a taboo to sell something u were given for free.

I left this mentality after my experience.

I had already set my house for marriage life before marriage, so lots of stuff I received as gifts were repeats.
And after the ceremonies, you got bills to settle.
The smaller items like plates and utensils, I kept them as gift item, the bigger ones like mattress, I put them for sale and used the proceeds to balance the camera man (it was big but mine was bigger and no spaces to keep it)

Though ironically, I still remember those that gave gifts (that I'm still using) than those that gave money
