I received a message this evening. below is the message:


You have been awarded scholarship to study COMPUTER SCIENCE/ COMPUTER ENGINEERING at MOCTECH POLYTECHNIC, Ehime Mbano - IMO STATE by MOF Nigeria. You are by this notice invited for your admission processing from 3rd -21st August 2020.
You are to come with your O'Level & JAMB results, 2 passport photograph and registration fee of N25,000.

How true is this message and help me to confirm. I partaked in jamb this year, I don't know what to do now.
Is a surprise to me because I didn't pick IMO state poly. I'm not from even from IMO state. But I chose computer science and computer engineering. first choice university(unizik), second choice ebsu and third choice Fed poly Ado-Ekiti.

It's one of these private polytechnics affiliated to the govt owned high institutions.
Some are illegally run without license.
This is a marketing strategy for you to enroll with them.

It is a private poly in ehime mbano, jst that u've been given a tution waiver i guess. Next is to apply change of school through jamb an u're gud to go. PS: ignore if u ain't interested.

I received a text saying Congratulations, u have been awarded an admission into Crutech. Call so so so so number..
I called the number and I was very desperate for that admission, the man said I should come to Cross river with 100k so he would unlock my Hostel space for me and also give me health insurance card, So with this, the school would know I'm serious for admission and That he would pick me up and take me to the school.. At the background I heard someone say " Guy u bad" chai!!!!!!!!!!!!
Na confirm scam.. Don't fall for it. I stay in Lagos, I had no business with Cross river.
I blame those cyber cafe people sha
