I have already said it before that we need a leader at the back since Rudiger who is supposed to do that is lacking that skill. We can get a CB or maybe even a goalkeeper with such skill. But I still insist that, if our defenders who knew how not to make some simple mistakes before will all of a sudden become very bad, then something is wrong somewhere that is not entirely the fault of the players. Four CBs becoming bad all at once, I no gree.

Courtious used to be lazy when he was with us and performing badly. But all of a sudden he goes to Madrid and he is no longer lazy. Something happened. Remember that he used to complain about the goalkeeper coach.

Look at Kepa. We know that Kepa has shot arms and lack awareness, but he has never been this bad before. Something is wrong somewhere.

I have never said that our CBs are the best in the world, but I'm certain that the can't be worse than cahill and Luiz on the latter's bad days, and they can also be as good as those guys on their good days, and we won major trophies with those guys. Ucl, epl, name it.

What Chelsea need is not a complete overhaul of CBs like you guys are advocating, but the addition of a great leader figure with experience to and a good defensive setup and a good instructor.

There are players with natural leadership charisma and that is what is lacking at the back.

Rudiger all of a sudden has become something else.

We were do dumb at set pieces and it seems they learnt a new tactics later on.

Although kepa is dumb but the defenders are so mediocre and very scared to make mistakes thus no confidence whatsoever.


We need someone to bring in dat leadership.

I bet luiz would have brought that but his clumsy tackles hindered everything.

We don't really need overhaul but some one to co-ordinate the defence.

We still need a keeper though
