Is the best thing for Osinbsjo to our candidate in 2023

Pubichairs:
It's better the yorubas endorse Osibanjo, as a presidential candidate for 2023 election, the man is more competent and capable, to govern us well..

But No, the rather remain slaves to their so called jagaban...

What we need in this country is a good leader..

I don't care if the North or South west produces one

And the Alcameroonie your region ass licked also lose his polling ward to Buhari.

Dodging the question again cos no meaningful counter argument.

Try and be creative and come up with something unique... You can do it
Oga there is no 'dogon turechi' for you. The presidency is either going East or remaining in the North. You are already being cut to size in the current political equation but as usual you remain in self-denial. 2023 is usher in the nail in your political coffin.

There will be no yoruba president in 2023, you know it as much as I do.

Do your political movement and let us do ours then let Nigerians decide on poll instead of being a saboteur.

Good music no be by loudness...

The presidency of 2023 will first be decided in the party boardrooms where superior arguments will counter and trounce your greedy yoruba interests.

It doesn't matter who goes in, yoruba won't be president until the East takes it turn. The argument against yoruba presidency will only lose validity when the East takes it rightful turn not before.

Standing against Eastern presidency will only delay your own yoruba presidency, you may want to deny it but that's the reality of the zoning 'turn-by-turn' political confuguration that currently holds sway and in which you have previously benefited from.

Pigidiooottts are just a bunch of dulllardds!

Is PDP APChuh

Obasanjo won on the platform of PDP. SW has had its time there.

All southerners are free to contest on the platform of APC since no southerner has ruled on the platform since its formation.

Why are pigidioooots afraid of squaring up to Yorubas for chrissakehuh

Anyway, we expect them to queue up behind an aboooki in PDP as usual.

We are not surprised and they will lose!!

They keep forgetting Abiola defeated Tofa and Obasanjo defeated Buhari.

Did Yorubas(Tinubu group) form APC just so that a pigidiooot will emerge in 2023huh

Pathetic bunch!!

Wailing to death is your father's prerogative n he can exercise his right before the break of dawn but he as no right to stop Tinubu or any other Yoruba from the presidency.

SE has it then. Babu SW, they've taken their turn. They'll should wait in line if the North must also wait.

PDP will wait for APC to produce their candidate, it the zoning agreement is not fulfilled to the later 't' and a SWner emerges, then PDP should field a notherner, because zoning has collapsed.

Those who think they can keep trying to taunting and mocking the East by hijacking the presidency won't have it easy this time.

The presidency was 'gifted' to the SW in 1999, that's why we all allowed them to produce the candidates of the two major parties, after the several failures of Awo, MKO et al. to become president.

Same should be done to the SE in 2023, or power can remain in the north. It's simple.
Your wailing will be renewed when a Yoruba win APC presidential ticket come 2023.

Barca, let me ask you this question: What is PDP's position about giving their ticket to the East?

This thing is a no brainer in politics: you sow your oats where your chances of success is highest, that is why despite Obaseki decamoing two seconds to PDP primary, he was still given the ticket.

Now, down South, where is PDP strongest and where would you rather they zoned their ticket? Are you people ready to reward the East for all their hardwork and loyalty to PDP? If not, does that signpost Pdp's disdain and utter disregard for the efforts of the people of the zone by pdp?
I agree with you. PDP needs to reward SE for their loyalty with the ticket. Sadly, PDP ticket would most likely remain in north for fairness (within the party).

PDP tickets:
1999 - South (west)
2003 - South (west)
2007 - North (west)
2011 - South (south)
2015 - South (south)
2019 - North (east)

South - 4

North - 2

2023... I believe it would go North under PDP.

But if anything is to come south, then South east should get

Spare me that!!
APC Must zone their ticket to SE....
the same APC u hate with passion, the same APC that the only governor they have in your region is through court.......many Igbos here have vowed that they had rather die than to have APC rule the east n u want APC to zone their ticket to the east.

Can u give your most prized possession to someone that declared he hates u with passion?

Oga let me make it very clear to you.

Whatever made sure that SW didn't contest with SS in 2011 and also made sure that SS and SE didn't contest with SW in 1999 will ensure that there will be NEVER be SE vs SW situation. You will not be allowed to smuggle yourself into aso rock with power of incumbency.

PDP will wait and study the situation, if SW emerges in APC by hook or crook, it means zoning is now suspended or dead, you will be facing the North in PDP with the strong backing of SE/SS zones to wrest power from you. That's the consensus around here. There is no sugarcoating it. We are realists not 'utopian idealists' like you yorubas.
u are telling us lies fed u by your village uncles...........in 1999 obj n ekweme contested the primary under PDP n abj defeated ekweme hands down so an Igbo vs yoruba affair

in ADP too, Ogbonnaya onu contested against Olu falae n Olu falae defeated Ogbonnaya hands down, that's to show u it's an Igbo vs yoruba affair too.

so where did u see it that south east didn't contest against south west?the problem with Igbos on nairaland is that it's either u aren't informed or just willingly want to change history.

The Igbos contested against Yorubas n yorubas won on both platforms so the same thing that happens in 1999 will repeat itself now.

it will definitely be an igbo vs yoruba thing

Mr man, stop deceiving yourself.

Before the PDP primaries, the Board of trustees meet and decide the winner before hand and pass the message to the delegate voters, the presidential primaries are most times a formality to reduce the risk of litigations. OBJ emerged that way.

Buhari also emerges as APC flagbearer that way in 2015, even a dog on streets of oshogbo knew he was going to emerge but primaries are constitutional and have to hold.

Stop trying to fool yourself with that piece of garbage you are driving at. Whoever the BOT endorses emerges. We are all in this country and know things play out during presidential elections. Stop your typical yoruba grandstanding.
don't change goal post bro, south east are claiming no one contested against yorubas in 99 n now u are given the details u are now talking about internal politics.
The fact is it was an Igbo vs yoruba affair then so in 2023 let's make it an Igbo vs yoruba affair first b4 we start talking about internal politics.

are u talking about the same east that have served PDP for 21 years n they are still skeptical about giving them ticket?

Are u talking about the same east that always say it at any opportunity given that they hate APC?the same APC u label ewedu terrorist Islamic almajiri party?

U hate APC sote u ignore the ever useless ikpeasu but u are always castigating Okorocha,u think APC didn't see all these?the only governor APC had in your region is through court n u want APC to zone it's ticket there so u can vote PDP n disgrace APC........u must b dreaming if u think APC will give u it's ticket.

Even PDP that u served for 21 years wholeheartedly isn't ready not to talk of APC u hate with passion
