That’s your own cup of tea.

Whether it belong to Arab or Jews, it doesn’t stop the fact that it’s in Ondo State Yorubaland benefiting the state.

u failed to mention abia state where oil is in large deposits. The area of rivers state where u have major oil exploration is echi which shares border with abia state and ohaji egbema which some parts is imo while the other is in rivers state, emouha is the only parts in ikwere where oil exploration is going on, so stop misleading people one day the truth will come to bare.

Forget all this super story. The only truth here is that Ondo state produces more oil than any state in your region based on available data.

It’s not cardinal point but geopolitical zone.

There is a geopolitical zone called South-South!

Let each region concentrate on their regional strength for productivity.
Yes, development rate may not be the same but no region would be pulling each other backward..

The Southern and Northern part of the USA did this before and after the Civil war and it worked for them.
Abuja should only take taxes from the North, West and East.

Any state that doesn't produce would suffer. I promise you, Governors would wake up.

The idea of going to Abuja to take money every month from the proceeds coming from a particular region is the worst ever.

Wo jeji mi ranti ule. O ti pe yi mo ti je Iyan ati efo elegusi

That's Ilaje language, an average Itshekiri / Ikale / Ondo will understand.
Even some Yorubas of other dialects will understand what I wrote.

Mate, before commenting make sure you have a glass of cold water, the reason is to calm you down and make you to be more reasonable ..... I would like to emphasize the mental genocide that the Nigerian government has carried out in the eastern part of the country. What I mean by this!!They have tried their best to degrade everything that comes from this part. The 0.6% they told you and the 1.6% in Abia and IMO to be precise are nothing but breathing lies.

That's my point. The goe-political zones are based on the cardinal points but the dingbat who formed those zones just had to divide the the zones into south-south and north-central to make them dis-united and so make it easier to steal their resources. This country need to be balkanized, that's the only way each region can progress otherwise we'll keep running in circles as we've been doing since independence

The Member Representing Degema/Bonny Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Doctor Farah Dagogo has advocated that the oil producing communities in the Niger Delta should be allowed to control their resources, just like the communities in the North control their gold. He opined that the communities should be allowed to either refine independently, or take their oil to any choice refinery and sell at the international rate; and pay tax to the federal government as entailed in a true federal system.

The Honour Member further noted that certain northern communities in Zamfara, Adamawa, Bornu and other such states that have huge deposits of gold, are allowed to explore their resources to the benefit of the communities and their people; while the case of the Niger Delta seems different, as the federal government does the exploration in partnership with some giant multinational oil companies. Despite the massive level of environmental devastation and ecological damage experienced by the people, the federal government only gives 13% derivation to the state and local governments in the Niger Delta.

Hon. Farah Dagogo criticised the federal government on the Presidential Artisanal Gold Mining Development Initiative (PAGMDI) and other federal policies relating to natural resources. He explained that the North has enjoyed community exploration of certain natural resources, such as above 27 billion barrels of bitumen, 2.23 tonnes of limestone, 14 million tonnes of barites, above 1 million tonnes of zinc-lead, etc. The Northern community people constantly explore for these natural resources including raw gold; they lower themselves into huge tunnels and large pits in turns to explore these resources.

Similarly, the law maker questioned that if majority of gold deposits are in the North as claimed, does it mean that the records cannot be made public to allow for the generality of Nigerians to invest in the sector? Unlike in the Niger Delta where all the major tribes have reasonably high stakes in the oil and gas industry. Thus, he criticised the secrecy behind the PAGMDI scheme as he described it as a smokescreen designed to favour the Northern region of Nigeria, by giving them resource control. While the South has been advocating for resource control for so many years without any headway.

The point is, if the federal government could come up with such PAGMDI scheme which regulates and allow the northerners to control their gold by exploring and distribution; were miners can conclude with their activities and subsequently sell to Central Bank of Nigeria at N268 million per 12.5kg of gold bar, and pay tax to the federal government. This seems like the direct opposite of what is happening in the Niger Delta; and for the purpose if equity, fairness and social justice, the Niger Delta should also be given total resource control were the host communities can pay tax to the government.

Nice try Farah Dagogo but you cannot eat your cake and have it. The so-called forbearers sold their destiny on cheap plate all in the name to spite Ndigbo. It is utter foolish to destroy your neighbor of many years because a faraway stranger told you to do so. It is waste of time to repair a broken adult.

It seems only blood shed of the stupid parasites can guarantee us the liberty. Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo all depending on our oil and oppressing us but just 1 day will be for the great Niger delta. We remember how WAZOBIA forces killed late niger delta activist Isaac Adagaboro after betraying him, We can't continue to feed a stupid religious country who will not respect our cultural values but collect our resources our culture blesses us with. When I am reminded how these parasite tribes listed above leech on the innocent small Niger delta I get infuriated and my heart is filled with hatred for the parasite tribes leeching on us.

This topic does not call for participation of every goon in Nigeria. The area officially declared as Niger Delta by the federal government of Nigeria had more Igbo ethnicity than any other ethnicity in the area. The stream of thought or lack thereof you expressed in the above post indicates the source of backwardness found in the so-called Niger Delta.

Shut up sir.

Anambra, Imo and Abia are oil producing states.

None of the men u listed have oil wells to their names.

Rivers state is igbo land so the oil there belongs to igbos

50% of delta state is igbo land so moat of the oil there belongs to igbos.

We cant be parasites in our own oil.
