Although you're not talking to me, let me give you my opinion.

To me, redmi 8a is what I would choose. Reasons
1. 18 watt fast charging (9a Support 10w Max)
2. Usb C (9a comes with micro usb)

NOTE that 9a has a fairly larger screen.

I would have said something about their processors but I don't know much about processors. 8a is snapdragon while 9a is mediatek.

Choose wisely. 18w is better than 10w charging. I didn't take this wattage stuff seriously until I got a 4000mah phone with 5watt charging...na die. 5 hours to full.

9a is cheaper than the 8a cos it's newly launched. People won't buy if the old model is cheaper than the new one.

In the end it's your choice tho.
