At a tough time in the Nigerian army

It still beat my imagination how we have this level of sacrifice yet some people entrusted with our common wealth are just disgracing themselves.

It is a shame and it epitomizes the wickedness of man.

I guess Nigeria leaders are among the worst in the world.

Our leaders must wake up. Lives are being lost and sacrificed.

You will expect that stories like this will be able to make people think right but they are just disgracing themselves.

I believe the only motivation you can give to a man to move forward when the heat of war is on is when he knows you will do the same.

When he knows you will not run away as he is holding his end

When he knows you can sacrifice your life to save his as he is the one in front depending on share luck to remain alive.

Its sad how we've gotten so used to huge death tolls. What can be more disheartening?

We've gotten used to a lot of crazy things

That is how we end up losing what we are entitled too

By folding our arms and getting used to everything

We might not be able to directly pin point the effect of Fela's Rebellion on the government but he sure put them on the edge of their seats

Today nobody is putting our leaders at the edge of their seats

Its easy for them to do whatever they like

This country is the way it is becos nobody is doing its part. The people, the opposition etc

Which is why at the end of the day, the blame that you throw circles back to you

The blame game wouldn't solve anything. We just need to play our part

Sometimes our parts might mean following the right example.. I.e Arotile

Other times it might mean holding our leaders accountable
