Urbanization requires serious planning and investment. Otherwise you'll end up with Lagos or Kinshasasa. Ghana - where are the urba areas All we see are squalor after squalor.

Let kenyans remain in rural areas until we have created urban jobs by growing the economy further. Unless we discover some serious minerals - it start from agricluture to manufacturing to high tech stuff. We are still in stage one...our economy still agricluture heavy.

By 2030 when we become middle class - I expect we will be 50% urbanized.

Kenya banks should go there. Equity went to DRC and they made insane profit. Now imagine Nigeria. You see those mega banks were formed recently. They have nearly zero innovation or anything. The just in an environment of zero regulation, zero consumer literacy, protection and basically a zoo - you can profit.

Imagine giving a state or county a loan of even 25% - and these idiots - can borrow at 35% - they are given as monthly interest - something like kenya mobile loans shylocks.

We spend 200M dollars - to count our people. Nigeria cannot afford to do that.
Our family planning that started in 1970s is paying off.
Everyone with something btw their ears knows Kenya has been leading Africa in contraceptive usage for many years now.
Nearly 70% of our women are on contraceptive.
About half of them on long term - 5yrs injection.
We are NOT breeding like rats.
Our women - majority in rural - are refusing to get more than 2-3 kids.
Those in urban areas are doing 1-2 kids.

We did national housing survey - large on in 2016 - this is BEYOND BEYOND your paygrade.

And we discovered pretty interesting stuff. I will tell you one day.
