Hey guys, check out this awesome application that I developed. its a voice controlled news and information app created with reactjs, material ui and a package called Alan AI.

So basically you can search for news and information by speaking to the application.
When you click on the link (https://firegram-f1001.firebaseapp.com) and get to the homepage, you will see a microphone icon at the bottom Right of the page. click on the icon and you can ask the app to search for news or information.
Examples of things you can ask the application are: "Give me the news from CNN" or "What's up with smartphones" or "Get me the latest science news" or "what's up with PlayStation 5".

Based on the question you ask, the app then proceeds to fetch the information/articles in a numbered order(1,2,3...). After fetching, it asks you if you want it to read the headlines for you. You can answer yes or no. Answer yes and it will read the headlines for you one by one.
You can also ask the app to open a particular news or information article by saying eg: "open number 4". it then opens it in another tab. You can also give it a command to go back to the homepage by saying "go back".

You can also have small conversation with the app by asking eg:"how are you", "how old are you".
I am still working on it so there are some adjustments I still want to add but check it out.

So, on mobile, the app is a bit slow when you first load it . But after sometime it starts working well.
Best to access it on PC.
