Nigeria President Muhammadu Buhari has endorsed the All progressive Congress APC candidate for the Edo State Governorship Election come September.

Mai Malla Buni, Chairman, Caretaker Committee of the APC made the disclosure to News Men after the meeting.

Buni stated this while briefing State House correspondents after presenting Ize-Iyamu to Buhari.

Ize-Iyamu had during the meeting debunked the allegation that 14 members-elect of the Edo State House of Assembly, sat in his house on Thursday to impeach the Speaker of the House and elected a new one.



He said: “Let me debunk the statement that 17 members of the State House of Assembly sat in my sitting room, it is not true.

Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has wondered why President Muhammadu Buhari is supporting the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Osagie Ize-Iyamu for the forthcoming election.
