Experts in the house,I own a 04 honda accord which I noticed it jerks when it returns from gear 3,2,n 1,when it returns back to each gear it jerks, changed the oil, done the regular servicing,gear selects perfectly well,just that jerking noise when it returns |

Run a scan. It's probably a E solenoid malfunction. |

psalmz:Try and scan it... Had the same problem with my Avensis Verso.. After servicing the gearbox... Dey scan it... After scan... Dey remove the brainbus... And touch one stuff on d panel... Boom.... all d problem ceased |

Save up about 80k Sir and buy a new gear. You can decide to also take it to Oyingbo but make sure you go early so they can run diagnostics & test with new Solenoids. But my advice is to buy a new gear and have peace of mind. Honda is a great & slightly economical car to use but you MUST take good care of it & fix major mechanical issues almost immediately �� |

I later found out it was from tbe gear box, there is a pin, that holds it when u put it on park, when u park your vehicle and u dont use your hand break, the weight of the vehicle rest on the gear box, with time it wears out there by giving it clearance |

psalmz:Best parking habit: when the car has come to a complete stop, engage the hand break first (parking break) before you shift the gear to park position. By doing this your car will be securely parked and wont rest on the gear. |
