I am planning to buy my first car, and 2006 toyota corolla is what i have in mind. I met a dealer who told me that 2.2 million naira is the cheapest i can get a clean american used of that model. Please all the great car enthusiast in the house; HELP me with the price make them no go scam una guy . Thanks

Visit different car stands that have the vehicle in stock and compare their prices...

Have in mind that most of the cars will have shady history ...as in they may be accidented, flooded, VIN tampered or all of the above...

A non accidented clean title 06 Corrolla should set you back about 2.2-2.4 million though, considering the present uselessness of the naira...

Most Nigerian car dealers hardly stock clean title cars because of the low profit margin and Nigerians lack of damns to give about clean title cars..

It is just the real price the dealer give you because it is not less than it may be higher in some instances unless you wanna opt for a used corolla which will be around 1.3 to 1.5m.

Good talk but clean title now may be around 2.5M if you are looking for non accidental car @ d rate of 475/USD. When dollar was still 365/USD, i got my own clean title non accidental car for 2.2M including customs duty. My advice for u is to do comprehensive report of the car u want to purchase so that u will not get mileage of 295,000 miles that have been rolled back for 95,000 miles for 2.2M, Comprehensive report will assist you to get fair accidental car for 2-2.2M vehicle so that u will not pay 2.2M for Junk car after 6 months, u start blaming urself

Why not get 2009 corolla for 2.5.

Toyota Corolla is well fuel efficient compare to Toyota Camry . My opinion though

OP forget about Corolla and look for a Civic, while you can buy it.
@$1=N500 N2.2m is about $4500, and there no where in the world a Corolla will cost that including shipping and clearing.
I was just quoted N750k for a ordinary car and that was more that the car is worth whole sale
