You are right boss... However, I honestly don't see City losing to Lyon.
It would have been harder to call if Juventus had made it last night...

As you said, this is football! I hope it turns out to be an epic encounter. Lyon should give their all.
Same was said when they met Monaco some years ago(This is football)

That said;

Respect man, your reply is so unlike the average Nairaland replies.

was expecting a banter when I said "you dey yarn dust sometimes"

Twice now(with me) on this forum, you've been so civil/cultured with your replies

Respect once more. Good morning Boss!!!

God bless!!!!!

before ronaldo came they have never exited the competition in this round.before he came they have won the league consecutively for 13 years.ronaldo only came to confuse them.so what are u saying pls explain sir
Sir, now CR7 is there are they not confuse of what to do? What happen last season? Can you take off a reasonable different from it except the exit stage? What I mean in my comment is, the Juventus team(players) are not playing to their full might, all the want is the CR7 magic/miracle and forgetting he is getting old and losing many vital stunts. The coach is the head of the team CONFUSION and that's where the whole problem begin.

Well, you clearly haven't been watching that team all season... They have been shambolic all through... It's a miracle they won the title.
No, it's not a miracle Juventus won the Serie A. Stop making excuses for them. Nobody wins a league competition of 38 games with 4 games to go by a miracle.

You have missed out the big picture, the main facts, while focusing on the irrelevancies.

The truth is the Serie A is currently the lowest in quality of the big Five leagues. Juventus, the champions got eliminated by Lyon that finished seventh in the supposed Farmer's league over 2 legs.

Inter milan, the second best team in the Serie A was eliminated at the group stage, with Barca beating them both home and away.

Man City destroyed Serie As brightest prospect "Atalanta" 5-1 during the group stages.

All these facts are a pointer to the declining quality of the Serie A as a whole. This supposedly shambolic Juve team were good enough to win the Serie A with 4 games to spare (shows that other teams were shambolic as well). But when they come up against better quality outside the Serie A, they fell short.

While Ronaldo might have performed well against Lyon in the second leg, it doesn't take away the fact that he's had a disappointing UCL season on a personal level with just 4 goals. In the first instance, Lyon should have been there for his taking judging from their different pedigrees. After all, Messi scored 2 goals and 2 assists in a single game against a stronger Lyon side last season that had Nabil Fekir as its chief protagonist and finished 3rd in the French Lique last season, and it really wasn't much of a fuss.

So in all, when you put all the facts into context, Juventus, and Ronaldo failed badly on the continent this season, without excuses.

At the very end, we both come to the same conclusion!!!... Juventus has been very poor this season.
The other teams have always been average IMHO, hence Juventus dominance for so many years.

Last last, Hazard would end up like coutinho.

Moving to Spain has added nothing new to his life except a bigger salary which Chelsea can afford anyway.
But they said laliga is too easy because Messi ans cr7 where scoring for fun ,they don’t know those 2 players are way above others

Will u compare juventus midfield players to what they hv now?? Vidal, pogba, pirlo , matuidi was in form , dani alves, bazargli , chiellini and bonucci was in his 20s with buffon at the post ... just look at what they hv now ...apart from bonucci , ronaldo and dybala , no player wud hv made the first team of those juve players that year... without Ronaldo now...juve wud hv been like ac Milan
Will you compare barca of Iniesta, Xavi, Busquet, Puyol, Henry, Villa etc with what it is now?

I still repeat Juve would have won serial A with or without him.

Brother, contrary to what you might think, I actually hope Barca wins... I would prefer a Barca vs Bayern (Or Chelsea tongue) quarters than Napoli vs Bayern (Or Chelsea).

However, with what Napoli and Barcelona have been playing in recent times, it is not business as usual... Barca has to bring the game of their lives to overcome a soaring Napoli.

Varane sold the match, period. After all he has about 3 UCL medals. How can you explain such 'defensive blunders' in a match of that seriousness.
