To be honest,Tochi wasn't true to himself.
Always switching from one accent to another and trying to impress everyone.
At least Eric was a foodie but Tochi was just a shadow.

I agree with you to some extent, he didn't seem too comfortable and seemed too self-conscious. I would have preferred a well-spoken Nigerian accent to his hybrid pseudo-American accent.
