You could have left that your "Keneking" moniker instead of deactivating it.

Very good question.

I was the most patriotic Nigerian, hence the moniker. But recently I am now convinced Nigeria is hopelessly hopeless and irredeemable.

If you still believe in Nigeria, don't worry you will get to my point of conviction soon.

Nigeria is a scam. It's foundation was built on lies and deceit. Let us just divide it.

When I gained admission to Obafemi Awolowo University in 2003, my brother was in final year living @off campus. So i don't use to stay in my hostel with the rest of my mates, I shuttle between living off campus with my brother and sometimes hostel with my mates. I had with me first hand knowledge of the life in town and as well hostel life. Whenever I showed up they all hail me "Tempo" and also they all use to tell me that I am too high in intelligence because I debate a lot on virtually any topic of engagement with ease ......all of a sudden the all begin to hail....high tempo.........that is my monicker....

Well Tupac Amaru Shakur inspired mine. I love his music
Obviously Chris happens to be my name as for the "Czar" I was inspired by the true life story Ivan IV Vasilyevich, the Grand prince of Moscow, the 1st Russian emperor to use the title Czar(a Russian equivalent of Ceaser) he unified the Waring and scatter country into the unified Russian nation we know today his ruthlessness earned him the beautiful title. "IVAN THE TERRIBLE".

Oya vivalavida come report yourself here.

mine was inspired by a TV series - ALIAS aired from 2001-2005. So many aliases adopted by the casts. when it's time for me to register here, hotspec just came to my mind.

My real name is Toheeb, just felt like I needed to add some spice so I spelt it from the end,"BeeHot". Mr Seun I need to change it. I have sense now.

Where are you based and how can I locate you?

Yeah thanks...I live in Delta State. I forgot to add I'm still an apprentice, but I'm good at what I do. Striving for perfection though.

cheesy. I fell in love with the TV series: VIKINGS. And since then the name stuck. Unfortunately, Vikings is related to cultism in Nigeria, I honestly never knew and it's too late to change it, so yes, that's my story.

I won't mind changing to this moniker though: https://www.nairaland.com/Ragnar

But Seun is unwilling to sell it to me despite the account being dormant since 2007.

In those days when yahoo messenger was the major chatting platform, I opened a messenger account purposely for chatting and called it “seunmsg” meaning my messenger account. I got used to it and started using it as ID on other platforms.

Re: What Inspired Your Moniker? by Rilwayne001: 8:25pm On Aug 12, 2020
My name is Ridwan, people are used to calling me Rilwan in my neighborhood. I used to be a big fan of Lil Wayne and everyone in the hood knows this. So there's this my Hausa friend that playfully joined me name together with lil Wayne and started calling me rilwayne. Due to my overzealous ignorance and love for frivolities as a young boy, I liked the name and adopted it too. LMAO
