Noticed that Toyota Corolla is costier as compare to other mid-range vehicles of the same year, also notice that the color fades with time(let's say a year after purchase), is it that majority are salvage or accidented vehicle??

It's famed fuel economy, durability and maintenance is why it commands quite some reasonable second hand value which is one of d major reasons why it's still priced reasonably higher than others.. As for d fading part, it is poor paint jobs dats mostly responsible meaning dey've had some form of work done on d vehicle

The reason is because, the Corolla has a good fuel economy.....less repairs required, Parts are readily available and cheap... The Car is strong too

I've wondered same. A 2005 Nigerian used is still priced between 1.2-1.6m. A colleague bought a Nigerian used Corolla 04 in 2017 for 1.2 million today he's reselling same at 1.35.
