I wanted to take my grandmother to the state teaching hospital for a cataract surgery and then someone suggested eye foundation hospital for me, I made inquiries, and found out that it will cost me 10,000 to get a card in eye foundation, please does any one have an idea of the actual cost of a cataract surgery in the "eye foundation hospital", so I can get my self prepared. Thank you very much for your kind input. I live in lagos

Hi,

Please how did this go as my mum just informed me she's been diagnosed of cataract as well. She informed me they gave her an eye drop at General Hospital, Lagos and scheduled her to see a doctor in July. I'm thinking the waiting time is quite long and considering exploring Military Hospital as suggested here on your thread
