Donjazet, see how Busquets was the 2nd support for Semedo when Davies started that move. This is what DMs do routinely - support their fullbacks when isolated against opposition wingers. Busquets goes to within 3 yards of Semedo as he faces up Davies which is classic DM positioning. . . but by the time Kimmich scored, Busquets has not even made it into the box.

This is the problem with escort DMs, they are never in camera frame when goals are being scored. It takes good insight to know when they are falling hand, even if you can't see them in camera frame.

As I've said before, he's more of a deep lying playmaker than a DM. Barça without the ball have always been very vulnerable because their football philosophy revolves around always being in possession of the ball.
