ola6:What fact do you speak of, are you pleased with the fact that a Bsc degree in being paid 5x double the amount paid to another in the same country all in the name of different Agency? All we ask is a balance in the system. Imagine the way the writer was referring to civil servants as if their degrees are worthless |

aljharem:I won't blame them. They expected these workers flying choppers up and down, exposed to kidnappers and militants, and other hazard to earn same with other FG workers. It's not obtainable. IPPIs should capture their hazard and high risk in addition to productivity allowances. Some of these people are exposed to radiation that has an effect to their health and some idiots are against them. FG should capture all their allowances and if possible add more fund to encourage them. Creek is not an easy place to navigate considering militants and pirates. |

caleboxylic:The part in bold is false. IPPIS is a payroll software that can be easily amended to accomodate any peculiarity. If the allowances are legal and approved by the salaries and wages commission, IPPIS will recongnise and pay. The problem is most of these agencies pay illegal and unapproved allowances and they want to force the AGF to recognise these illegal allowances under IPPIS. It won't work. IPPIS was designed to combat payroll fraud. Payroll fraud is not limited to ghost workers, it also includes payment of illegal allowances and underpayment of PAYE. Those fighting against IPPIS are fighting to protect the illegal allowances and underpayment of taxes that they enjoy under the current payment system. |

Slawormir:oga wat do you know about ippis? One small boy would just sit in an office with a computer and be manipulating peoples hard earned monies.why weren't these peculiarities put in place and considered before implementation now you are trying to force people into a half baked policy that obviously is not sustainable.do you know the hazards involved in their line of work? And is it every body that is corrupt?ippis has failed jare |

ogascomax:This is a very dumb argument to make. FG MDAS are created to render different essential services for the development of the country. FIRS, CUSTOM, NNPC, NPA etc were created to generate revenue for government. Police, Navy, Army, Airforce etc were created to provide security and protect the territorial integrity of Nigeria. Office of the Auditor-General, EFCC, ICPC, CCB etc were created to fight corruption and ensure transparency in the federal system. Office of the Accountant-General of the federation, ministry of finance, debt management office etc were created to manage and allocate federal government's financial resources. The list goes on and on. So you see, all MDAS are important to the smooth running of the federal system. No one is lesser than the other and no one deserves more money than the other. While certain peculiarities exist in some agencies and must be recognized, the disparity that is currently obtainable makes no sense and must be addressed. |

seunmsg:I won't argue with you bc you are ignorant of what happens with IPPIS. Who told you that CBA (collective bargain agreement) was not approved? Who told you that Pengassan and nupeng are against IPPIS? What the union leaders demanded was a simulation of what salaries and wages commision and budget office approved. Why are FG and IPPIs running from a demo payment? If FG and IPPIs are sincere, they should perform a demo payment for union leaders to see. From my investigation, Pengassan and nupeng have even agreed with the high tax imposed, yet FG won't to remove their high risk and hazard allowances as approved in the budget. IPPIs should perform a demo if they are sincere. I support the union full time. Also, tell IPPIs to accommodate lecturers hazard and earned allowances. ASUU are warming up for another strike once school resumes. |
