Before the Advent of oil boom in Nigeria,the southwest already has its television station even before the country France.The first television station in Africa,Nigeria's premiere University,Coco house was not build with oil money,odua investment is still in existence and operational uptill now,the free education policy and many more I can't finished mentioning.

In the the pictures of Lagos of the 1960s-1970s that you uploaded, you only showed few streets in 2 LGAs (Lagos Island & LMLG) but didn't show Mushin, Agege, Ajeromi-Ifelodun,Ojoo in the same period.





As someone who was born and grew-up in Lagos, I knew how all these places were.

I don't merchant distorted facts. Coco House was built in 1965, not before independence and Western Nigerian Government Broadcasting Corporation which was built 1959, the question is this all you had then... To consider Western Nigeria developed as at that time?

May I remind you that without the following infrastructures built by Federal Government, Lagos wouldn't have been better than Ibadan.

1. Third Mainland Bridge 11.8km
2. International Airport and Local
3. Seaport
4. Stadiums.
5.Roads
6. Train Station
7. Government House
8. Military Installations

These are the facilities that avails the revenue that Lagos enjoy, in fact... Abuja generate more revenues than most states today, because of Federal Infrastructures,not because of hard work of the Hausas.

Look next time, don't assume I'm younger, because I'm far older than you.

Eko Atlantic city(city in the making), what's the size? (Smiling), without the concentration of Federal infrastructures, they won't be Eko whatsoever you called it now.
You didn't remember Lekki Bridge? It took Lagos 60 years after independence to build Lekki bridge (1.3km), how many years will it take it to build 11.3 km multi carriage Third Mainland Bridge?

Abuja attracts people and investments now, because of the concentration of Federal infrastructures, not because of the indigenous people.

I have a question for you. State 3 state projects that Lagos state has done that's a par with any Federal Infrastructures in Lagos with all the revenues you're claiming.

If you think anybody will wanna stay reside in Lagos, remove all the military installations, bridges, roads, Airports, Seaports, University etc... What has Lagos State?
It's Federal infrastructures that's generating revenue for the state government.
