Don't mind the daft IPOBian. Totally obsessed with Tinubu, Lagos and Yoruba people. Disgusting.

Every other post from him is about one of the three categories above. Lagos is on his radar currently.

The covetousness of Igbos for everything Yoruba is actually scary and eerie. Yorubas need to be very careful with them.
I am Yoruba from Osun state.

Lagos is a 'nomandland' only in the delusional mind of the landgrabbing igbos. That is the same trait that leads to the general resentment of you guys everywhere you go. But that's fine because water will always find its level no matter what. If Lagos had been allowed to die and allowed to fall into ruin after the FCT was moved, una no go dey claim am, because you people only like being associated with good things. If Lagos was so terrible, you and your fellow ipobs won't be flooding the state for sustenance via night bus so continue with your foolishness.

I will always call you out for the fraudster that you are. You opened this thread with malicious intent to incite your fellow ipobs and other gullibles against the Yorubas that refused to allow Lagos to die inspite of its numerous challenges since it ceased to be the FCT. I have showed pictures of areas of Lagos that weren't even in existence when the areas in the pictures you posted were snapped. You will never acknowledge any positive developments in Lagos because it goes against your evil agenda to demarket the state and Yorubas in general, but your efforts will always fail.

It's now a city of Chaos. I always cringe at the thought of ever moving to Lagos. Respect those that were born and bred in Lasgidi, alot.

Pls how old are you,am very sure you in your early 20s for speaking this trash and aside from that you are not a good students of history.

Before the Advent of oil boom in Nigeria, the southwest already has its television station even before the country France. The first television station in Africa,Nigeria's premiere University,Coco house was not build with oil money, odua investment is still in existence and operational uptill now,the free education policy and many more I can't finished mentioning.

And you are here talking about oil,my brother the discovery of that oil itself is like a curse to us in this country. We all know where many countries that even discovered oil after Nigeria are presently talk of UAE,qatar,Libya, Kuwait.

There is a documentary I watched recently about Kuwait dat states that petrol is cheaper than water their, can you say that about this country.
I don't merchant distorted facts. Coco House was built in 1965, not before independence and Western Nigerian Government Broadcasting Corporation which was built 1959, the question is this all you had then... To consider Western Nigeria developed as at that time?

May I remind you that without the following infrastructures built by Federal Government, Lagos wouldn't have been better than Ibadan.

1. Third Mainland Bridge 11.8km
2. International Airport and Local
3. Seaport
4. Stadiums.
5.Roads
6. Train Station
7. Government House
8. Military Installations

These are the facilities that avails the revenue that Lagos enjoy, in fact... Abuja generate more revenues than most states today, because of Federal Infrastructures, not because of hard work of the Hausas.

Look next time, don't assume I'm younger, because I'm far older than you.

Why is Africa backwards? Look at Lagos then and what it is today. Africa really needs God's intervention.
Re: Pictures : Lagos When It Was The Nations Capital by oyatz(m): 5:46am On Aug 15, 2020
In the the pictures of Lagos of the 1960s-1970s that you uploaded, you only showed few streets in 2 LGAs (Lagos Island & LMLG) but didn't show Mushin, Agege, Ajeromi-Ifelodun,Ojoo in the same period.

As someone who was born and grew-up in Lagos, I knew how all these places were.

RuudVanNisteroy:
You are showing how the richest 1% live in Lagos. This is not a reflection of the reality of most of the inhabitants.

Great point, Lagos should have built up on the foundation laid to bring Mushin,Aege,Ajromi-Ifelodun and Ojoo development up to Lagos Island and LMLG.

Lagos is a no man's land. Federal resources were used to develop Lagos as you can see.
Lagos GDP in 2010 was no where close to where it is now in 2020 nd wen it stopped being d capital 1991 it was no where as rich as it is now Lagos. U know Lagos had expanded farther after 1991 since it stopped being d capital meaning d FG stopped taking care of it so how come lagos state has better roads nd other infrastructures Dan ur SE states

Lagos Is worse than mediocrity, its an overrated piece of shit.
I mean..can't believe a sane human being without taking the past history of Lagos in to contention will be defending d shenanigans of a single man turning d state into a vasal of himself and his cronies..
what is happening in Lagos is d definition of modern day slavery

Lagos of today is more developed with a far better skyline. Only bad belle people would deny that.
Skyline without light rail is what?
Shithole?
Skyline without water is what?
Shithole?
Skyline without government schools for all children is what?
Shithole?

A shithole where thugs like MC Oluomo determine how much taxes are paid by educated people for nonexistent service/utilities/facilities.

I don't play with facts, what and what did Jakande and others governors do? I've stated clearly that over 80% of the infrastructures in Lagos were built by Federal Government.

Eko Atlantic city(city in the making), what's the size? (Smiling), without the concentration of Federal infrastructures, they won't be Eko whatsoever you called it now.
You didn't remember Lekki Bridge? It took Lagos 60 years after independence to build Lekki bridge (1.3km), how many years will it take it to build 11.3 km multi carriage Third Mainland Bridge?

Abuja attracts people and investments now, because of the concentration of Federal infrastructures, not because of the indigenous people.

I think the military killed Lagos. I certainly don't want to go back to that Lagos of only developed Lagos island n under developed rest of Lagos.

I have a question for you. State 3 state projects that Lagos state has done that's a par with any Federal Infrastructures in Lagos with all the revenues you're claiming.

#StateOwn.

If you think anybody will wanna stay reside in Lagos, remove all the military installations, bridges, roads, Airports, Seaports, University etc... What has Lagos State?
It's Federal infrastructures that's generating revenue for the state government.

And since the federal capital was moved from Lagos, they have not been able to add any major infrastructure to it.
