The way I see things is somewhat different, maybe I belong to the previous century to understand you guys.
EG mentioned someone who hasn't been here before (I may be wrong) for whatever reason I don't know. It's more of a subtle mano-a-mano than a tete-a-tete judging from the way CN suddenly talked about his taste. Then that one came even without getting a mention and gave her own subtle slur. That was understandable tho, anyone will definitely feel offended if you involve them in unnecessary chitchats especially one that has come off insulting.

It was needless of CN to make any further point considering that you have already dragged her through the muds either intentionally or not.
