Nigeria is a sad country. This isn't funny anymore. A country governed like a jungle.... Lawless. How can a Federal Government institution like the EFCC arrest someone without evidence, without reasonable charges, and without any real reason other than because some bastards within the top echelon feel annoyed that someone had the audacity to reclaim his property (illegally seized by the commission)? They expected him to surrender the wristwatches and let go just like that. Because others have been doing that, so it is the 'new normal'? God I HATE this country. It can never be salvaged. |

This is the same way America money laundering works. They confiscate money or assets 10k + . If you claim the items then you better have proof of how u earned it. They will release your items and indict you later on tax evasion and money laundering. If u hustle and police take your money it's best to just let them he and it |

AdaNri1:Only when d citizens decide& agree to have brain. Right now, Nigerians are roaming about chasing trivialities like celebrating d same politicians that oppress them. Some are cramping themselves like sardine at campaign grounds instead of protesting against corruption & fighting for their rights. So my dear, there's no date |

dre11:i had similar experience when I was arrested by the SARS operative they came to arrest someone in our compound and they entered my flat arrest me and my brother took our phones and even JBL speaker with power bank, they search there is nothing found we where granted bail at night they where systematically delaying our items they now said we should come and collect them tomorrow morning that the officer who kept the items has signed out of duty, the next day I went there they were brutally angry that I came back to collect my items, they bundled me inside cell again I spend one night before our family lawyer came and bail me again after much, questioning they see nothing tangible that make them rearrest, Nigeria force and security agencies are all criminal minded if they saw something valuable with you during arrest they wish to make you lose it to them. |
