The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party for Ondo State , Mr Eyitayo Jegede , has picked a member of the House of Representatives , Mr Gboluga Ikengboju , as his running mate .
Ikengboju is representing the Okitipupa / Irele Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
The PDP candidate , who announced his running on his Twitter handle on Monday , said the choice of Ikengboju was agreed upon after due consultation with the leadership of the party .
He said , “In the task of rebuilding the confidence of our people in their government and in restoring hope for a better life under an administration in Ondo State , and following extensive consultation with leaders of our party , I am pleased to announce that Hon. Gboluga Ikengboju will be working with me in seeking your mandate in the October 10 , 2020, governorship election .
“We will also work with other notable leaders of our great party in different capacities . In this regard , we salute the commitment , conviction , support and understanding of all the aspirants and other leaders of our party. ”

Jegede we know,,Bleep Aketi,,,Bleep APC,,Bleep APC supporters,,,Bleep them all

Tough call here. Though Aketi performed extremely well in terms of infrastructural & human developments as the State Governor but his only undoing is how he has turned the State into a family affair settings. People might forgive him to complete his 2nd term, but won't find it easy getting enough votes from the Ondo South axis due to some factors, and the Deputy Governor- Agboola Alfred Ajayi influence here. But he'll be massively rigged in his hometown, Owo & Ondo North generally. I forsee the case of Kogi State elections repeating itself in the Sunshine State.

I'm PDP and im particularly interested in the Edo election, PDP winning Edo is a statement against imposition and godfatherism.

As for Ondo, its just a normal contest let the best candidate win. But in all sincerity I don't see PDP coming close to APC in the finals.

Let politicians settle themselves.
